Privacy Policy

SILA AI Pty Ltd (SILA, we, us) builds custom software, system integrations and AI tools for Australian businesses. We are based in Brisbane, Queensland. This policy covers the website at silaautomation.com.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Contact form. If you send us an enquiry we collect your name, email address, company name if you give it, the areas you select and anything you write in the message.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. These collect technical information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site. This information is aggregated and does not identify you by name.

Email. If you email us directly we keep the correspondence so we can respond and refer back to it.

We use your contact details to reply to your enquiry, discuss work you have asked about and, if we go ahead together, to deliver that work.

We use analytics to see which parts of the site are useful and to fix what is not.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or add you to marketing lists without asking.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business: Vercel (hosting), Google (email, analytics), and Cloudflare (domain and network). Each only has access to what it needs to provide its service.

We do not otherwise share personal information unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

Enquiries land in our email, which is hosted by Google. Some providers, including Google and Vercel, may store data on servers outside Australia. Where we control the region, we choose Australia.

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as they are relevant to a conversation or engagement, then delete them. Analytics data is kept by the analytics provider according to its own retention settings, which we keep at the default.

The analytics tools set cookies to distinguish visitors between page views. The site does not use cookies for logins, tracking across other websites or advertising. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting the site.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@silaautomation.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If this policy changes we will update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
